About me ...

Lockdown ... 23rd March 2020 was the beginning of a very difficult two years for many people.  Holidays, both UK and abroad were cancelled and the PM asked everyone to stay at home; easier said than done for many including key workers who were and still are critical to our livelihoods.

During one of the 'lockdown-relaxes', we went on a UK doggy-holiday.  At a local craft shop, I discovered resin-craft.  I was so taken aback!  The colours were stunning and couldn't wait to try the craft myself.  Oh boy, what had I let myself in for?  I discovered a whole new world!

The downside (if there could be one), was that resin is expensive to buy and also hazardous to work with, so full PPE (including respirators) must be worn at all times.  Use of a studio or large room with plenty of ventilation is also a must.  I understand now why resin craft is not main stream and when you do find it, it's usually made-to-order with just a few pieces 'off the shelf'.

I love what I do and continue to try to perfect my work; I hope you like it.
